FAQ

Good questions

What happens if the airline says my bag’s too big?

Every bag lists its exact size so you can check before you fly. The Vackpack is built to 40×30×20cm, the exact Ryanair limit. Keep the front pockets from bulging, because that’s what usually gets caught at the sizer.

How much can I fit inside?

The Vackpack and Spacesaver 2.0 have built-in vacuum compression, fitting up to 50% more clothes into the same space. The Spacesaver holds 27–37 litres, enough for about a week away.

Will my laptop fit?

Every bag has a padded laptop compartment:

  • Vackpack: up to 14"
  • Rolltop: up to 16"
  • Digital Nomad: up to 17"
  • Spacesaver 2.0: up to 17"
How fast is delivery?

UK delivery is free with Royal Mail. Need it sooner? DPD Next Day with a 1-hour delivery window is available at checkout for £4.99 on items we ship from our UK base.

How do returns work?

Get in touch within 30 days and we’ll send you a free returns label. Your refund goes back to your original payment method once the bag reaches us.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, Klarna and Shop Pay Installments are available at checkout, so you can spread the cost over 3 payments.

Choosing a Ryanair-compliant 40 × 30 × 20cm cabin bag

Ryanair’s free personal item must fit under the seat in front of you and measure no more than 40 × 30 × 20cm, including handles and pockets. Go even a few centimetres over and you can be charged at the gate, so the safest choice is a bag designed to that exact size rather than a general daypack that happens to be close.

Look for a soft but structured shell that keeps its shape when full, because a packed bag is what gets measured. Front pockets should sit flat, and straps should tuck away so nothing sticks out of the sizer. Vacuum compression helps here: squeezing the air out of your clothes lets you pack more without the bag bulging past the limit.

The Vackpack was built around this allowance. It measures 40 × 30 × 20cm and has a built-in vacuum compression pocket that fits up to 50% more clothes into the same space. It also meets the free personal item size on Wizz Air and easyJet. Airlines change their rules from time to time, so always check your booking before you fly.
